All sessions of the Oxford Conference for the Book are free and open to the public. Registration is not necessary to attend sessions.
The conference includes several special events, including a guided tour of University of Mississippi Museum, a UM Campus Slavery Research tour, an opening reception at Memory House, a lecture lunch in the Faulkner Room of the J.D. Williams Library, the Willie Morris Awards, readings by National Book Foundation award-winning authors, and a book signing and closing reception at Off Square Books.

The drive from Memphis to Oxford is approximately 68 miles. A map from the airport to the Overby Center on the University of Mississippi campus (where most Conference events take place) can be found here.
Parking
Parking passes are necessary for visitors on the UM campus, and parking is only allowed in designated lots. The closest visitor parking to conference sites is on University Avenue, along the Grove and near the Lyceum on the University Circle. Guests may purchase their own passes for $4/day at the Welcome Center on University Avenue, adjacent to the Grove, upon arrival at the conference each day.
On Thursday, April 4 the parking lot next to the Overby Center will be available for attendees. On Friday, the parking lot at the Women’s Terrace by the Student Union will be available for attendees.
